got myself a position as a intern/part time worker for a web design company! ive been working for them for about a week now, im so glad i got the job. they have me create visual components for websites and things like that, which ties in a bit with my computer graphics major. for awhile i was worried that i might not have been able to get the position, but i was able to prevail
pay is good, work puts my photoshop knowledge to good use, and best of all, i get to work from home and determine my own hours >w<

1.) I've taken 10 years of piano lessons, 9 years of violin, and 3 years of viola. since graduating from high school though(2 years ago), i have only been playing piano on my own time.
2.) What first got me into digital drawing about 3 years ago were tutorials written by

. although i didnt know drcloud was also on DA until recently (first saw his tutorial through his personal art site)
3.) Many times when i draw, my end result will end up totally different than i had originally planned. not that this is a bad thing, i just seem to change my mind alot xD
4.)Sometimes if i get too frustrated with working on a picture, ill end up taking a break by doodling something else. Although this generally results in me getting attached to the doodle and making it into a full work, getting me totally sidetracked.
5.) Even though i like video games, im very stingy and picky when it comes to buying or trying a new one. i havent bought one in about 6 months, although this summer i plan on getting Chocobo Tales, Metal Gear 4, Soul Calibur 4, and Armored Core For Answer.
6.) This previous semester, for class we had to write a essay about an artist we looked up to. i ended up writing about

7.) I like to spend all my free time productively, although for me "productive" can be skewed to getting farther in a video game xD
